Mr Tom Browne is a well known consultant surgeon with over 38 years' experience as a doctor across three continents. He currently practices privately at the Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford. His areas of expertise lie in vascular disease, varicose veins, open aneurysm repair, bypass surgery, laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair and carotid surgery.

Mr Browne qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his postgraduate degrees at the Royal College of Surgeons London and the conjoint colleges of Surgeons of the UK and Ireland, and then later went on to obtain his Master in Surgery from the University College Dublin. After training in the UK, he then went to the Royal Perth Hospital in Australia to train alongside Michael Lawrence-Brown and Mr David Hartley - a world-renowned endovascular team.

During his time in Australia, Mr Browne invented the fenestrated endovascular graft which has now been used in more than 7,500 patients around the world. Moreover, he was one of the first surgeons ever to use endovenous techniques for the laser treatment of varicose veins.

He is currently the head of the Vascular Department in Broomfield Hospital and helped develop the hospital's vascular unit. He also launched The Out to Africa (OTA) charity which is a project connecting staff and departments within Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust with their peers at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka, Zambia.

Dr Basheer Peer-Mohamed is a senior consultant paediatrician based at BMI The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes. He covers a wide range of medical problems in both children and babies. He has also been awarded membership of the International Headache Society for best presentation.

Mr Elson is the Chairman of the United Kingdom Knee Osteotomy Registry, established to further human understanding of knee osteotomy as a powerful treatment option. He is co-convener of the Northern Osteotomy Masterclass, which has become the largest cadaveric knee osteotomy course in the world, educating other surgeons on the safest and best techniques to perform knee osteotomy.

In addition to being an examiner for the International Council of Ophthalmology, he is a fellow and member of the paediatric sub-committee of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Since 1997, Ms Bruce has been dedicated to menopause care and research, which has been extensively published, and she has partaken in several national and international trials. She is one of the first menopause specialists for the British Menopause Council, and has served as a council member for two terms.
